This spot also works very well in small conditions throughout the year, with waves that are easier to read—perfect for working on your technique and building confidence.

Santocha is the go-to spot in Capbreton. This powerful beach break works in a wide range of tide conditions and regularly attracts experienced surfers thanks to its fast, hollow waves.
In good conditions, the waves offer excellent sections for performance surfing, with peaks that can become technical and challenging.
It’s a lively spot, right at the heart of the local surf culture, perfect for checking out the level of surfers in the Landes region or working your way up to more powerful waves.
